Computer access in the Innovation Commons
- Computer workstations: current registered students can use the workstations along the windows. Two Mac stations are also available for Multimedia students. Note: the Mac stations are not connected to a printer.
- Two workstations for quick search and password reset are available at the front. No login required.
- Students may also borrow laptops at the Innovation Commons front desk.
Printing & scanning
- Printing is available from workstations in the Innovation Commons and from the stations in the study rooms.
- How to print: All printing is done through PaperCut, a print management software. Upon registration, students have $40.00 allocated to their printing account in Papercut. See how to activate your Papercut account.
- Printing costs: only B & W printing is available. Costs are $0.10 per page.
- Adding funds: If you run out of PaperCut funds before the term is over, you may purchase a top-up from the Campus Store. You can also buy vouchers online. After you've paid, return the receipt to the IT Helpdesk in the Innovation Commons.
- Scanning: the Innovation Commons printer has a scanning function that allows scanned files to be sent to an email address. Students can scan materials, send a pdf file to an email address.
